The 2026 Provincial Leadership Meeting took place March 9-11, 2026, at the Sheraton Center in Downtown Toronto.
Attending the PLM allows members to network, learn about the union, attend political rallies and attend workshops.
ONA funded one person from the QCH Local 084 to attend. This year's attendee was Andrea Elliott. See her report back below:
The ONA PLM Conference brought nurses from across the province together to learn, connect, and support each other. There were great conversations about what’s really going on in healthcare right now, along with practical ideas we can take back to our workplaces. A big focus was on taking political action—like the phone zap—and how important it is for nurses to speak up and be heard. One message really stood out: when nurses stand together, we can make real change. It was a motivating and empowering experience that reminded everyone of the strength we have as a group. We can all help and support each other by being involved even in small ways.
