We want to hear from you! Now is the time to let us know what you want brought forward during negotiations. Our current contract expires March 2025. Proposals need to be in by January 2025, therefore, we are asking for your input now so we can get started. This contract is in regards to our Local Agreement, not our Central.
Examples of items that can be discussed for the Local Agreement include:
- Scheduling
- Union leaves of absence
- Vacation time off and scheduling rules
- Travel and parking
- Scheduling Premiums (consecutive tours, consecutive weekends, time off between shifts)
- Meal breaks and rest periods
- Uniforms
- Modified work rules
- Job sharing
It is important to remember that things being brought forward during negotiations should have a clear demonstrated need/evidence to be able to back our proposal.
